Shepperton has a big connection to the world of entertainment as it’s home to Shepperton film studios. Many of the world’s most profitable and much loved films have
been made or partly made there.
However on the weekend a Shepperton venue on a much smaller scale played host to very different and certainly fun type of entertainment.
1st call singing waiters John and Michelle had been booked to surprise the wedding meal guests of the new Mr and Mrs Mark Mason at Shepperton’s popular Sunbury golf centre, now a favourite wedding venue as well as golf club.
The guests certainly enjoyed the guys surprise musical performance confirming that they and indeed the whole day was much more than “on par”.
Congratulations to the happy couple
A bride and groom face many exciting decisions when planning their perfect day.
After the ceremony itself two of the biggest decisions are arguably the venue what entertainment to book for the wedding guests.
For recent newlyweds James and Rachel Milton these two decisions were not to difficult to make for their dream wedding venue they booked the wonderful Widbrook Grange Hotel in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire.
Originally a Georgian model hotel it’s found nestled amid 11 acres of private grounds and beautifully tendered gardens. Regarding entertainment they wanted to include something a little different fun and innovative but above all something to surprise their wedding day guests with.
They decided on booking 1st call Singing Waiters Michelle and Charlotte.
They surprised and delighted the guests when they suddenly burst into song after helping the dessert course of the wedding breakfast.
Everyone certainly enjoyed their infectious popular musical set leaving no doubt that the happy couples decisions made for a perfect Wiltshire wedding day.
Cardiff has more then it’s fair share of wedding venues, many of them impressive, many of them historical one such venue formed the setting on the weekend for the dream wedding of Natalie and Guy, Hensol Castle.
This Castellated mansion dating from the late 17th century is steeped in history and hidden surprises.
Natalie planned her perfect day which included surprising her daytime guests with 1st call Singing Waiters Peter and Neil.
After what was without doubt a truly memorable occasion Natalie took the time to send 1st Singing Waiters these very kind words, “Just wanted to say a massive thank you to our waiters on the day, they were amazing and everyone loved them!!! Many had not seen them before which was great as they really enjoyed it and people are still mentioning them now if they talk about the wedding.
Thank you for helping make the day so memorable”
We wish every future success and happiness to the new Mr and Mrs Pemberton.
Half way between Swansea and Brecon is, without doubt, one of Wales most romantic and interesting wedding destinations. Craig -Y – Nos Castle.
The venue offers wonderful surprises for its guests. The most exciting being its amazing grade 1 listed Adelina Theatre, named after the once very famous opera singer.
On the weekend this provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding of Sandi and Ollie. There was also another surprise in store for the bride and groom’s guests when during the dessert course of the wedding breakfast.
1st call Singing Waiters – Peter Michelle and Rachel burst into song. There can be no doubt that the guests all enjoyed the fun and
theatrical performance of the singing waiters and indeed the whole experience of this wonderful and historical Welsh gem of a venue.
Hidden amongst the breathtaking valleys of Caerphilly is Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel and Spa the setting on the weekend for the wedding of Laura and Stewart.
Over the last five years this popular wedding destination has been nominated and short listed by brides and grooms as best venue in their region in the Welsh national wedding awards .
1st call singing waiters Neil and Elizabeth learnt that the beautiful Bride Laura is a huge fan of Swedish superstars Abba !
As secretly planned, they performed their surprise musical act during the dessert course of the wedding breakfast and were delighted to include a fabulous Abba musical medley especially for the bride Laura
There can be no doubt that everyone had a Abbasolutly fabulous time !
Another weekend of traffic chaos, didn’t stop Singing Waiters Peter and Simon making it to the Heresford Hotel in Bridgend, for another wonder Welsh wedding.
Our singing waiters teams have had to contend with some horrendous traffic delays at the infamous M4/M5 interchange near Bristol. Torrential rain didn’t’t help matters either. Luckily our experienced team, checked the conditions long before being due to leave and arrived in plenty of time to set up for the surprise.
The following day Peter, with Neil this time ended up sitting in standstill traffic on the Second Severn Crossing for an hour! Fortunately this was after the performance.
Rain or Shine, Good traffic or Bad… we always strive to get to our venues in plenty of time.
Wonderful Wiltshire Singing Waiters.
It was another busy weekend for 1st Call Singing Waiters, with four Teams out. Simon and Mike were in Royal Wootton Bassett at the lovely Marsh Farm Hotel, for the 20th Wedding Anniversary of Jennifer and Paul.
Close family and friends shared in a warm celebration with all ages attending. From the opening song…the smiles, clapping and joining in helped make this event a memorable one for everyone. Especially a couple of the young teenagers, who were initially mortified that the Dad’s, Mum’s, Grandparents and friends were joining in so vigorously.
The unique five star retreat Oldwalls situated in the heart of Gower near Swansea was the setting for a scrumptious wedding on the weekend for Lucinda and Deian.
As our pictures show here the happy couple anticipated that their guests would have “a sweet tooth” and supplied scrumptious sweets and cakes for all to enjoy.
The other “treat” for the wedding guests was the surprise musical perfromance of 1st call singing waiters Maureen and Dylan.
They proved to be the iceing on the cake with their fun and infectious musical act during the dessert course of the wedding breakfast.
Certainly everyone had a great time and we wish the happy couple Lucinda and Deian all the very best for the future.
As Singing Waiters we know a great deal of time is spent in planning the perfect wedding and it’s of course not easy to come up with ideas which will make the day a little different but the recent wedding of Helen and Nick at The Green in Liskeard Cornwall definitely achieved this!
Firstly the happy couple abandoned the idea of the ring bearer at the ceremony being (as is tradition) the best man and instead the job went to “a man’s best friend ”a black Labrador dog called, Poppy“
The second was to book 1st call singing waiters John and Clare to perform their special surprise musical act during the dessert course of the wedding meal and although it’s probably true to say that the singers were “upstaged “ by the adorable dog Poppy the venue’s events manager kindly sent these comments to the singers.
“Thanks for a great day today. You and Clare were fab and I’m pleased everything went well for you, you made a lovely day even better and everyone loved it!”
